My heat surge will beep and light will blink

maybe the thermal fuse. $1.78 today at Radio Shack or
As to the cold air problem, it's most likely broken a wire in the heater coil, which makes it non-functional. This is an easily replaceable part by any Heat Surge repair station. If you care to try it yourself, you'll need a new bi-metal heater, part #30000216, $24.95. A site called TotalVac.com has them for that price. If there are any seriously blackened or charred connections they should be replaced also. The flame not rolling could be a stuck shaft on the little motor that runs the flame rod. If you're careful you can reach up in through the bulb access panel and find the flame rod, I would take the bulbs out or at least unscrew them part way so they are not lit. They get quite hot and if you lay your arm against one it won't feel good. So, after you've unscrewed the bulb nearest the right hand end, reach up in behind the screen and find the flame shaft, work your way over to the right end of it and you should feel the motor connection. Try to turn the shaft while the unit is on and the lights should be running, if it feels like it's trying to run but just can't quite make it, then it could just be dirty. Disassembly to get to it to take it off for replacement or repair is quite lengthy so you might want to have that done by a professional repair shop. I think that motor is about the same cost, right around the $24 area.

Question posted under Reliance gas water heater.
Add comment for different brand.
Age of heater is unknown.
Status light indicates one of the Honeywell electronic gas control valve.
Status light not blinking indicates that water heater gas control not receiving electrical power for power vent models.
Or thermocouple is bad on non-power vent models
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-troubleshoot-gas-water-heater.html#intellivent

Depending on model, and age, the thermocouple can be tested and replaced. Or entire burner assembly is replaced.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-replace-thermocouple.html

If the gas control valve has gone bad because of power surge or other anomaly, then the power-vent type gas control is removed from tank and replaced, while the non-power-vent model is module and can be snapped off front of unit.

Monitors will not turn on due to a power spike. Tower makes a beeping noise with a red blinking light. What could be the problem?

The moitors did not turn on at all after the power spike?
If that is the case, probably some electronic components were burned due to power surge damage.
I advise you to contact the manufacturer for repair and your local electricity supplier.
The beeping noise and the red blinking could be indication that no monitor is plugged in.

The clean light is blinking and no other buttons respond. it is a new control pannel that i just put in the only button that respons is the start\restart but it will just beep

Hi

If clean light is blinking then it may be an issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump, please reset the power to the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error. If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry. Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to 3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

NO you cannot. I also advise you to completely disconnect all power to it until ready to do the work, you may cause a fire otherwise. Be safe.

TV will not power up, no lights blinking just a continuous beeping sound

Please follow the below troubleshooting steps: 1. If the Television is plugged into a surge protector, remove it from the surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. 2. Try connecting the TV to a different AC wall outlet. 3. Try power resetting the TV. To Reset the TV, disconnect the power cord for a short period of time (approximately 1 minute), then reconnect the power cord and power ON the TV. 4. If the issue still persists, TV will require service.

Did your Bios Battery Die?

5 short beeps = BIOS recovery successful

Usually means bios has lost settings some how. You have have more significant issues if there was a power surge.

Protection light blinks and beeping

it has been through an overload (hence the protection light) and needs its breaker to be reset (look for a poped out button and push it back in) or it needs a new fuse (replace ONLY WITH THE EXACT SAME MODEL OF FUSE or it will either blow too early or too late (or not at all) when there is a surge.

The power light blinks all the time

Does your machine turn on? Is the blinking light red or amber? If you have it plugged into a UPS or surge protector try directly into wall socket.
Please give a little more description, also what was the last thing you did before this happened?
