Question about ASUS G73JHA1 Notebook
My laptop is showing of a blue line or bar going through the middle of the laptop and it's causing a purplish haze to my display making it unbearable to play games or anything requiring graphics. If it's not black and white it looks trashed. I deleted and reinstalled the Video Drivers. The HDMI output shows no video card problems as it gives a clear picture to the tv screen I used. So I'm guessing the monitor is going bd, but I want to make sure before I rush to best buy to honor my warranty.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Asus L7200 without video driver
This is the best way to download the drivers of all your devices which are connected to the system for free.
You can download the Driver Magician from this link :
Download the reg key from this link :
then doule click & select ok.
Run the program and select update drivers, it will list the list of pdated drivers.
Select the drivers and select download drivers.
If it does not download just select the driver you need and at the bottom you would see a link,
Just copy that link and download from your browser or download manager, I use orbit downloader.
You can also try this :
Live, Love, Luagh.

Make sure your TV does indeed support the resolutions you are trying to use. Some low quality HDMI cables can also be troublesome in higher resolution so try one you are sure to work.
Regarding to the desktop only being extended when using the RGB cables, try bringing up the desktop properties window, select the TV as the primary monitor and select "Use this monitor as Primary monitor". You might have to drag the windows Taskbar over to the other monitor, just rightclick the taskbar, uncheck "Lock the Taskbar" and drag it over to the other monitor.
Hope you find this solution helpful, and please rate it if you do so..

connect an external monitor, if the issue is not there, the problem is with your LCD . You can get the part at Asus Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at Netbook Repair Guide.
