Question about Western Digital My Book Essential Edition (WDG1U5000N) 500 GB Hard Drive
I have got a 1tb external HD which I installed ubuntu on. Under parttion magic it shows as Linux. I no longer want linux and want to use the disk for storage space for windows files etc. Under XP it does not show up even though it is connected. How can I use the hd for windows?
Right click on my computer and select manage.
Go to disk administrator. Right click the drive and have it put an ntfs partition on it. It will then show up in my computer.
