Want to change the Header

I have a Canon Laser Class 8500 machine that I got from a friend whose company was upgrading to new machines. I can't figure out how to take off the previous owner's ID information and replace it with my name and number so that my faxes reflect their true origin. Thank for any help!

Rec paper jam is shown on the machine but we can't find a paper jam any where. Our machine is a Canon Laser Class 8500. Any suggestions?

Open and close all doors and trays, making sure that there are no jams, and that nothing is caught in the paper feeder. Unplug the machine, and press the power switch for at least 5 seconds. Plug the machine back in and power up.

Want to change the heading to reflect my name.

On Page 6-6 of the Operation Manual, the Settings to adjust the Sender's Name (which you can store up to 99 Names) is done through the TTI SELECTOR. On my machine, the TTI SELECTOR Button is located just under the LCD Screen - last button on the right. There is little else mentioned of this therefore I assume the procedure is quite simple. However the Manual states "To Select a Sender's Name" I was hoping it went on to say, to also EDIT and/or INCLUDE a Sender's Name. I would start with the TTI SELECTOR and hope that solves your problem. Good Luck

Problem is caused by worn paper feed tire, and seperation tire. The worn tires causes vibration on the seperation plate. Replace both tires.
