Your tech is mistaken. The brown/white wire will hook directly to the lt.green/blue wire at the steering column in your car. Might require some programming at the alarm module.

My honda accord alarm keeps going off for no reason could you help, ive took it to a honda dealer and put it on the computer and no problems showed up

I have, on several occassions encountered this issue with the Honda Accord (98-02). Your problem may exist with the hood pin switch. I have had to disconnect the hood pin switch plug on a few. The plug is located below the hood latch in front of the radiator. It's a tight spot and you will problably need a long hook tool to get to it.

I just got a honda accord coupe v6 and i have looked every where for the sticker that has the code for the sterio and its not there ... the serial number is 12114213 thank you

you can take that serial # to the dealer with proof of ownership and they will give you the code for it. that is if it hasn't been changed by someone after the dealer set it.. or you can try this website.

hope it helps
