How do i reset lamp light timer model#HLR6167WAX/XAA

SOURCE: TV won't stay on. Green & Red light timer-lamp (Green) stand by/temp (red) flash.

Most likely needs a new lamp. Easily done yourself.

Hi.The ballast may be defective if you hear constant clicking sounds after you've pressed the power button.

If there are no clicking sounds after you press the power button(3-5 clicks every 2-3 seconds), this will confirm optimal ballast performance and, it will also confirm a major issue that concerns the Power distribution board. There are several weak or damaged components on the board that have failed.

The replacement of the power board is recommended in this case.

To bring up the service menu, turn your TV off. On your Samsung TV remote, press Mute 1 8 2 Power. This WILL invoke 'service mode' and invoking this WILL reset all your custom picture and source name settings. I don't know the specific menu to find the lamp reset option, but I believe it is in the first menu context.
