Question about Canon Laser Class 8500 Printer
One of my friends got this machine, Canon Laser Class 8500, from her employer who was upgrading to newer machines. When I fax something, however, it prints the name of the Company which previously owned the machine on top and their phone number.
I have been unable to figure out how to replace this information with my information so that my fax documents reflect their proper origin.
Thank You for any help you can supply!
On Page 6-6 of the Operation Manual, the Settings to adjust the Sender's Name (which you can store up to 99 Names) is done through the TTI SELECTOR. On my machine, the TTI SELECTOR Button is located just under the LCD Screen - last button on the right. There is little else mentioned of this therefore I assume the procedure is quite simple. However the Manual states "To Select a Sender's Name" I was hoping it went on to say, to also EDIT and/or INCLUDE a Sender's Name. I would start with the TTI SELECTOR and hope that solves your problem. Good Luck
