Question about Sharp LC-20S1U 20 in. LCD EDTV
Hello. I purchased a Techview TV, 20" Screen, about 2-1/2 years ago. The TV has blacked out, and I am looking for somewhere to get it repaired? Also answers as to what happened? Why would it stop working in only 2 years? I purchased the TV from Sears, 05/10/05, with a 3 year Master Protection Agreement, which ended on 05/10/08. I just want to see if I can get it repaired, and how much is it going to cost? And if the cost of repair is going to be more than the price I paid for the TV, well then, that's a "no brainer"! I will just junk the TV, and never make another purchase from the Brand, and Model again! TV's use to be built, and made to last for atleast 10 years before the picture tube would begin to blink! What happened?
I have a similiar problem. Cutting in and out on DTV, No sound at all on DVD player, but when I added the PC speakers like was suggested, the DTV still skips and I get full DVD sound.

Typical repair is $200 and up plus parts, your set is very BIG! and it will take at least two people just to get it to the shop.
More likely to have pwoer supply problem.
