Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

My Sony Wega KDL-V32XBR1 has a yellowish picture. This happened a few days ago. The normally very rich color has turned to shades of grey and yellow. I have read the user manual looking for options

Go into settings on your tv and find color saturation. This is probably your problem

Try different cable, if you still get the problem after replacing cables, then you have a defective sygnal board (input board).

SOURCE: Yellow ring on screen of KDF-E50A10 Sony Wega

The optical engine has a build up of dust. This can cause yellow shapes and blotches to appear. It is no easy task on this model to dismantle and clean the engine.

Tv guide doesn't work anymore

I have a Sony model KDL-32BXR6 that the TV Guide first showed no listings this past weekend. Last night when I entered the Guide the screen displaying the Setup/Display Setup Progress came up stating "In Progress". Same thing this morning. Something must have changes with the input signal if this occurred with two different sets.

Sony xbr 60 grand wega color problem.

It sounds like to me you have a bad Optical Block. It is a expensive repair and you may want to call Sony at 1800-222-SONY and see if the would assist you in repairs. Due to the age of it, they would probably only cover a partial amount of the repair.
Hope this helps,
