My troy built model tb320bv gas leaf blower will not run at full throttle. If I keep pumping the priming bulb it will throttle up to normal but when I stop pumping the priming bulb it barely runs. What is wrong and how do I fix it. Repair shops tell me it will cost more than it is worth to have them fix it. Please help.

I have or had a similar problem. Mine would run and quit with no warning. All the basics were checked. Found no fuel going to the plug, took the carb apart and cleaned it, no help. reassembled it all and it started working then it happened again a while later. Went through the same motions, no help. It always took many pulls to start and had to prime it ten times. I owned other two stroke engines and never had to prime it ten times, five the most. This unit is junk. The problem is that the spark plug is on the bottom of the cylinder and is prone to flooding which leads to hard starting. I reached my end with this unit and slammed it against a concrete wall, came apart in pieces and it made me feel good. Now I will go and buy a real blower from a real company that makes their products in the USA not Mexico like Troybilt does. Troybilt was once a good company but now they stink, no more quality control.
My solution is do not buy a Troybilt product. JUNK, JUNK and more JUNK!!

The carburetor may need to be taken apart and cleaned or rebuilt. If you haven't taken one apart before your best bet is to see if you can get an after market carb for it, that would probably be the cheapest way out.

Tb320bv blower, I can set the choke and start it but it will not run. As soon as the choke pops off during acceleration the blower dies.

This would indicate that you need a new diaphram in the carby not very expensive any mower shop will do for about $30

Troy-built TB320BV will not stay running

get a can of carbeurator cleaning spray. get a helper and as one of you runs the thing, the other will give it short bursts of carb cleaning spray right into the air intake, leave the filter off while you do this.
