I can give you an HP Support link to the free Service Manual, and guidance; for replacing the motherboard.

B) Board level component replacement? Sure for most components.

How can I repair the motherboard og lenovo g500 if the power is damage...

To repair it you would have to take it to a specialist and get the motherboard replaced or replace the motherboard yourself. However chances are that the motherboard wasnt damaged because chargers tend to have surge protection built in so you may just need a new charger, i would recomend trying to power it on while using a charger that wasnt damaged and if it dosent power on than take it to a specalist to have it repaired.

P5N7A VM MOTHERBOARD

Here is what I read, Deborah;

"Moved motherboard to another computer case......
Found some Processor (CPU) pins bent.......

Would like to have board repaired, as it is still under manufacturer warranty, but cannot replace board.
Seeking to just have it repaired."

CPU = Central Processing Unit.
Another term used is Microprocessor, or simply Processor for short.

Since the processor does NOT have any contact pins, I assume you are not referring to it.

LGA 775 processor socket,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:CPU_Socket_775_T.jpg

No repairing of that baby.

Contact pins on motherboard.
Use a mechanical pencil, and take the lead out.
The nose of the mechanical pencil should just fit over the bent pin.

Go TOO far, or TOO fast, and the pins will break off.

By the time you have the motherboard repaired, you're probably looking at the price for a replacement motherboard.

That IS IF, you can find any REAL tech's in your area.
Most are parts changers.

To me logic would dictate sending that mobo in, and have the manufacturer repair it if it's still under warranty.

I need replace or repair for my acer aspire 5571 motherboard

You can always get replacement motherboards for your unit. Simply get the motherboard model number from your current motherboard and search for it online. Best places to order from are amazon.com and ebay.com they are totally secure and guarantee to provide the best. Repairing motherboards usually gives no guarantee.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Hp pavilion dv5 1102tu. i am facing motherboard problem. can i get it repaired?

If the fault is a CPU or RAM or add on device then it can be repaired, but if it is a component on the motherboard then NO. it would be cheaper to replace the motherboard with a new and later model motherboard..

Do you have and how much are your motherboard manuels that tells parts and other things about different motherboards need (!0 manuel if poosible!

I have never found motherboard repair manuals, motherboard troubleshooting and repair
by the average individual is limited to replacing capacitor, memory, processor or cards that
plug into the board, most of the other parts are surface mounted and more complex to replace and require equipment that is expensive.

My motherboard is dead cai i repair my motherboard OR buy a new one? how much cost is it?

Motherboards are easily repairable. If you can tell me where where are you from I may be able to guide you with some details about the repair center. But What I wants to Advice you is repairing your motherboard may not help you to resolve the issue permanently because once repaired the motherboard would not have any kind of guarantee about how much it will last. If you like my advice I would advice you to get the motherboard replaced and be secured from further expenses.

How can you fully repaire a coputer motherboard so as to start working effectively?

Generally, if you have a bad motherboard, they are replaced instead of repaired. The cost to get the motherboard repaired is more than just replacing the board. You must be comfortable with computer components and ready to modify jumper settings on a new motherboard for you computer before you can change a motherboard out. It can be done if you can follow directions and are confident in your abilities.

I need to replace the motherboard for a Dell Inspiron 5160 Laptop because the AC adapter connector is damage due to wear and tear. I do not know the correct type of motherboard to order. Any suggestions?

Hi there.
Instead of replacing the motherboard you can have a new adapter soldered on to the motherboard providing there is no more further damage to it, doing this will save you a small fortune as laptop motherboards are expensive.
All you have to do is phone around reputable PC repair shops and ask them if they do repairs on the AC adapters, I'm sure you will find one that does.
If really do want a replacement motherboard please post back.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

MOTHERBOARD REPAIR

First off, is the motherboard actually the problem? If your motherboard has failed, the screen may come on and you may have some sort of raster (brightness) but thats as far as you get. Power supply failure is (in my experience) more common than mother board failures (usually) and may exhibit the same symtoms. Also a bad battery on the motherboard will cause funky things to happen on boot. (clock not right/failure to recgonize hard drives, etc). If you are certain a motherboard is a fault you should replace it ( unless you are VERY fluent in soldering/desoldering surface mounted components and component level repair and have a solid understaning of digital and D.C. circuits) More often than not, replacing the entier motherboard is cheaper and less of a hassle.
