SOURCE: I would like to know how to adjust the carburator of McCulloch 3516 chainsaw 35cc/cm 46759-77

the carbuator has two 2 adjusting screws on it.one is high side and the other is low side.start by turnig them both in until they touch bottom.now turn them both out 1 1/2 turns.this should start and run saw.throttle saw up to full throttle and adjust high side in until you get the best RPM out of saw.do not adjust high side any less then 7/8 turn out from bottom.if you do you will burn saw up from to lean burn.once the high sie is set now adjust low side until the saw will idle by it's self.let me know if this helped you.......

Is there bar oil in the tank? Oil pump and/or pickup tube in oil tank are usual suspects.

The idle screw isn't as important as the low/high setting on the carb. Start with one turn out on both low and high side settings.

Homelite ut-08068-r leaf blower leaking fuel

If we are talking about a hand held leaf blower. The fuel leaking from the carb is likely caused by a stiff metering diaghram holding the needle open. Rebuild your carb ( I suggest also replacing the fuel lines and primer bulb while you are at it) and double check the lever adjustment.

Can't adjust carburator.

look on the carburetor. there will be 2 screws right beside eachother. one is an idle jet and the other is the main jet. if you want faster or slower idle speeds, adjust idle jet. if you want more power, adjust the main jet. you have to get them set just right . they might smoke a little bit because you are throwing more fuel to it which means you are getting a richer mix

How to adjust the chain model 10655

See Chain Installation & Adjustment here: http://www.fixya.com/support/r4146814-chainsaw_chain_installation
No chain brake on your saw, ignore 1.

The adjustment screw is parallel to the bar. Look from the nose of the bar toward the engine the adjuster is the screw head just to the right of the bar (order follows):
1. - Engine,
2. - bar,
3. - guide bar plate (flared portion away from the engine),
4. - finally the clutch cover.

There is an illustration of most parts here:
Homelite/Ryobi.com (authorized parts supplier)
https://www.gardnerinc.com/recons/disclaimer-lg.php - Agree; Choose “Product Line”; “Select OEM” & “Select Catalog” both to “Homelite Consumer Products”. A drop down list appears; self explanatory from here:
Find "XL Chain Saw UT-10655", see "Housing & Handles" print.

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. Thank you for using FixYa and Good Luck. HTH

How to adjust a carburetor on a Mighty Lite Handheld Gas Blower model# UT 08520 ?

if you take apart the carburator youll see a screen under the plate on one side once together turn the mixture screws in all the way till you feel it seat or tighten then back out each screw 1 to 1 and 1/2 turns then start the engine the key is to get it to idle once it idles turn the mixture screw the low side it will say l or h below the screw turn it in which clockwise till it runs smooth then back out slightly till it just starts to miss then rev up the throttle and adjust the high side which is towards the filter turn the mixture screw in till it revs to the highest point which I call the sweet spot your pretty close to what you need

Would like to find out how to set carb hi/low speed on homelite mod ut 08030 leaf blower

This is not difficult but it takes patience. First screw both screws in full, then unscrew them out one full turn each.
Start your engine and working on the low screw first adjust it along with
the throttle control screw until you have ticking over nicely, then do the same with the H screw. Make your adjustments very little at a time. Stephen

How do I adjust the idle on my Homelite Versatool UT 20811

There should be a large phillips screw on top of the carburetor. Screw clockwise to adjust the idle up, and counter clockwise to adjust it down.
