Question about Sony Handycam DCR-DVD108 DVD Camcorder
I read the instructions in the book and followed them- I was able to upload video after I finalized it to a disc- is there any was to just upload video without having to finalizing it first- wondering if I need a memory card for the Handycam or can I only use the DVD-R?
Usually the memory card is more suited for stills with the camera, some higer capacity cards (SDHC) will hold some limited amount of video. If your software that came with the camera (Sony) will often allow you to import the movie so you can edit it in the program. Which is what you might want to consider giving a try since you can add titles, transitions and even remove scenes (bad shots) and get a more polished look to your movies plus it's fun. Let me know if you would like a recommendation on video editing software.
