D3 navigation reads the wrong location of vehicle/radio

This has happen a few times already. I live in miami, fl. but the navi shows me in brooklyn, ny. the arrow just moves to show direction but doesn't move like your driving threw streets. I could zoom in & out of brooklyn. its been stuck for a few days now. the last time it lasted for the whole day and then worked fine. is this a satellite problem? signal? or the unit? the very first time was 18 months ago. didn't work for a few hours and then worked fine. I've hit the reset buttons on the d3 unit, the xm navi, & the bluetooth unit. nothing. thanks for any help.

it's telling me I'm in LA and won't move around at all, when I'm driving in Santa Barbara. Tried the "reset to the original settings" still no change.

My radio/navi keeps saying "it is not possible to operate this function while in memory navi mode" do i get out of that mode? thank you...andy

Sorry Andy, that feature is built in at the factory so you cannot watch a DVD while driving.. maybe a radio shop will know how to bypass it.

Several things wrong...

It looks like some one tried to wire the D1 to bypass the mobile lock out feature. You groung out the parking brake line in a specific pin. If it is not grounded correctly the nav locks out and it cant be accessed. Look up online the wiring for the AVIC D1 Bypass mod. Double check the wiring that they explain with what you have. Sorry I cant be more specific on the sites its been 4 years since I bypassed the disable function. It's worked great with out any issues so far as the navigation is concerned. The back light fuse going out, now thats another storry.

How do I set the clock on my Pioneer AVIC-D3, it's an hour off?

I live on the east coast and had to change my time to be all the way out to one end and manually i have to turn on or off the "summer" time setting, which is kind of like DST.
