Question about Dell Optiplex GX280 (99301) Motherboard
Just started on a Compaq Deskpro, couldn't find exact model/series written anywhere. When I turn it on, it sounds like it starts just fine, no beeps or anything, also no video, monitor light just blinks green....like blinks once every 3seconds, meaning no video signal. I pull the agp card and connect to onboard graphics, same thing happens. I replaced processor, same thing. Before connecting to onboard i changed agp card with 4 others of same model(ATI Rage 128 Ultra), same thing. I've gone thru putting single sticks of RAM in it left and right, thru about 5 sticks of ram ranging from 128mb - 512mb.
Numbers/Names on case and boards:
sticker on mobo says:
CPQ Assy. No:213855-101
CPQ Spare No:203966-001
small silver tag, outside of case:
EXSM/815 P866 M1 BASE US
COMPAQ SERIAL NO: U126FR3ZA204
COA: Win 2k Pro 1-2 CPU
anymore questions, just ask.
I got ur answer that is once remove the ram and clean it and keep again. Maximum it works other wise check the load is comg frm smps or not 5v to mother board r not
