Printer reads that parts have come to the end of thier service

My printer signalled that I should replace the black cartridge which I did with a genuine Epson product.

Now when I switch the device on I get the green light and the red light comes on steady and the machine won't print.

    Any ideas?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

About: Epson Stylus Photo R230x Our printer is not printing, always saying this "Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life. See your printer documentation."

Possible that the pinter has a bad head, poor cartridges and maybe the waste ink is clogged.
If your printer has worked for a long time this means a full service on the machine. but make sure if the cost of replacement is worth it or a new machine with added features is better.

Changed ink both ink and paper light are flashing can not reset them

It says that your inkpad inside the printer has to be changed. You may see the error in your pinters status monitor quoting "An internal part of your printer is aged. Service maintenane is required." An cost effective way to solve this problem is download SSC service utility and clear the service required error.

I HAVE A WARNING THAT COMES UP WHEN i GO TO PRINT

Hi
It's possible that the waste ink cartridge\pads are full and this is an automatic message that is set to appear after a certain number of pages have been printed. There may be an option to reset this alert in your printer manual. However, it is probably a good time to check and clean the waste ink pads.

Service required

If you are based in North America you can resolve the key problem which is to reset your waste ink counter using the utility provided by Epson here:

However, this is ONLY available in Canada and the USA, nor for Europe or similar. This means anyone outside of that needs to wait for or locate a grey market resetter via google (if one exists and I don't think there is one at present) or wait until the SSC utility is updated to be compatible.

BUT... You still need to resolve the problem of your waste pads which will be approaching saturation point. There are instructions available on various sites that cover a large number of printers. I'm pretty sure the CX3900 is not directly covered but you will doubtless find guides for other models that gives some clues for your own.

Hope that helps...
