Question about Sony KP-57WS500 57" Rear Projection Television
I ve seen this issue from other users. I have a red shadow on my screen and ive read that it is the convergence board, particularly the ic's. I have never soldered a circuit board, so im not sure i am comfortable doing this, even though i think i could. Is it easier to replace both boards, and if so where can i purchase them? And some instructions on doing so. Thanks Al
Yes, you can do that but , boards are expensive ,its better to replace the ic's and may other resistors assosiate with to them. step by step folowing intructions may you can try only if you already have some tools. like soldering iron ,multimeter ,solder, and patience . hope this help you to make your decision, if you need part # let me know
