I have brand new lift-off revolution. Used it once, loved it so I went to use the turbo brush on the stairs..no suction. I tried using other attatchments with same result. I put my hand over the hose and there is hardly any suction..also have noticed the top container gets full before their is hardly anything in the bottom canister. Is that right? Yes I have checked/cleaned all filters..I need the stair and furniture attatchments to work as well else this thing is going back to the store..any help?

Re: no suction with attatchments
If you have cleaned all the filters, there are two you need to wash and the hepa on the back may need to be changed, but the hose is probablly clogged. You can usually remove the hose ( twist it where the hose connects to the machine ) and use a broom stick to try and push the clog out.

I had the same problem. In the water resevoir, there is a red flap that allows the dirty water to flow back into the water tank. Lift that flap up and there is a small red screen. Pop that screen out with a butter knife and rinse it out. I have dogs in my house and that screen was blocked by dog hair. I cleaned the screen, popped it back in and it works like a new machine. You would think Bissell would address this roblem on their web site but they don't.
you can wash that sponge filter by hand but you must let it dry compleatly before putting it back in the machine, I found a filter pack for the lift off vacume at walmart, make sure teh bottom filter is clean as well. the lift off vacume has 3 filters there is one filter in the tray under the dirt cup, one in the top cup, and the hepa filter in the back the 2 foam filters must be clean or you can have reduced suction, the lift off vacume I have I found thrown away because they never cleaned it outthe brush was dirty and full of strings the belt was worn, the hose under the vacume was full and stopped up the hose in the back was compleatly stopped up all filters were compleatly clogged, and the hepa filter was missing entirely. Not to insult you or anyone but i've found that a lot of people are jsut to lazy to clean their vacume out it fills up with dirt they throw it away and get a new one, i've gottten many like new vacumes for this reason, this bissell is working like brand new now. and I just replaced the belt and all filters in it saving me approx. 150.00 for a new one
first check if the brush motor is turning before you spend money on a new brush roller and belt. remove the belt by unscrewing the screws holding the brush cover ( the part touching the floor ) and slip the belt of the rotor. turn the vacuum on, and the brush on while the vacuum is in a reclined position. if the motor is not moving, you need a new motor.
