Hello please select your product here:

http://support.creative.com/Products/product_list.aspx?catID=1&CatName=Sound+Blaster#

In seach for the driver.

Depending how old the card is you can`t be sure the driver will fit your Windows system.

Good luck

SOURCE: Problem with sound card AMD870 . I have

click start control panel, administrive tools, computer management, device manager scroll to cd/dvd rom drives right click properties then properties again then tick enable cd digital cd audio for this cd rom device or scroll to dvd regions select the no _ for your specific area
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

SOURCE: i can't activate my onboard

Your drivers seems to be the right one, but just for confirmation here is the official audio driver link for you to download. I have to tell you that this audio driver is suitable for Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems. What is your own operating system? In case it's windows 7 we have to try another procedure for installation (compatibility mode). There is also the case that the audio device is disable from the bios settings. But since this procedure is more complicated let's start from the easy ones. What is your own operating system?

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

Go to Start - All Programs - Accessories - Entertainment - Volume Control and see if your Maste Volume is at minimum or mute. I had this problem but maybe you have the same problem.

Z-lite sound Cards always have problems. Go to Amazon and get a SoundBlaster Card instead. Windows XP, Vista And Windows 7 have default drivers for most SoundBlaster 16-bit and 24 bit Cards. They cost around 20 bucks.

My computer has no sound becouse i have changed my operating system(vista to xp)how can i slove this problem?

Hi,
You would have to find and install the sound drivers for your sound card, that compatible with windows xp.
If you are using an assemble PC , try looking for drivers on the motherboard manufacturer website.
If you are using a company fitted machine , look on the vendor website
If its a add on sound card , like creative, soundblaster or realtech, look for the on drivers on there specific websites.

Thanks

On Creative website there are no drivers for 5.1 on Vista.

According to Crative, the 5.1 have reached the end of its service life and is not Vista compatible.

Some private uiser had found his own solution in alternative to creative deciosion not to make SB 5.1 Vista compatible.

Follow the instructions on this website, as they seem to be the only way to have SB 5.1 working on Vista.

    Driver

there are no drivers for the speakers, you need an audio driver installed for you sound card.

    http://support.dell.com

Your system will either have an on-board sound card (Sigmatel normally) or a soundblaster expansion audio card. (If the audio jacks are in an expansion slot below the video card, then you have a soundblaster.

Soundblaster drivers are found at http://www.creative.com

Windows VIsta should have no trouble finding your Soundblaster LIve card. If it doesn't work just pull it back out, no harm done.
You should not have any trouble.
