Sounds like you have removed them by pulling on the wires, not by the earbuds or plug. not a recommeded practice when unplugging anything as it usually ends in broken wires internally along with tears. You may be able the get somebody to do some faultfinding/repairs if they are of the super expensive variety otherwise replacement may be the only solution. Most in-ear headphones have super delicate wiring and are as such a real pig to resolder

Hi There I want to use my ipod Nano Radio while the ipod is in its docking station and play the music through the dock speakers but the radio wont work without the ear buds plugged in for reception. What...

The ear buds are not only the headphones but are also the antenna for the radio.
This one issue that has to be addressed by the dock manufacturer. You will have to tamper around with the Nano to modify it to work with out a ear buds by letting a wire permanently hang out from the device - which I think would look ugly !!!

Volume control does not change the volume when using earphones

Most often, the ear phone might be the problem.try getting a new ear phone preferable, one from another manufacturer,if it does the same way, the problem will be from the earphone port.

Ipod shuffle wont play

If iPod shuffle isn’t playing music
â iPod shuffle might not have any music on it. If you hear the message “Please use
iTunes to sync music,” connect iPod shuffle to your computer to sync music to it.
â Slide the three-way switch off and then on again.
â Make sure the earphone or headphone connector is pushed in all the way.
â Make sure the volume is adjusted properly. A volume limit might be set. See “Setting
a Volume Limit” on page 25.
â iPod shuffle might be paused. Try clicking the Center button on the earphone remote

Left ear no music

Before you worry about repair, verify that the balance control in the iPod isn't causing the problem. The easy way to do this is to try some other audio device (home stereo, etc).

My ipod shuffle wont play music

It won't play music while connected to computer, that's for sure. It only plays when it's disconnected from the wall charger and computer.

The songs could be in the wrong format
AAC is iTunes native format
Mp3 generally works
WMA is iffy - only unprotected (non-DRM) files will work
Streaming songs won't work

Try resetting the ipod and see if that fixes the problem. Use apple's 5 R's which can be found here:
