Hdd problem

I BOUGHT THIS MSNV-939 MOBO W/AMD X2 3800,I REFORMATED MY MAIN DRIVE
IN CABLE SELECT, NOW WHEN I PUT THIS SECOND DRIVE IN TO RUN AS A MASTER & SLAVE (CHANGING JUMPERS OF COURSE) ON BOOT IT SAYS THAT MY PRIMARY IS A SLAVE AND THAT THEIR IS NO SECONDARY (ALSO NOTE THIS SLAVE DRIVE HAS ALL MOVIES ON IT). I TOOK BOTH DRIVES & HOOKED THEM UP ON THE IDE CABLE SEPERATELY & THE MOBO SEEES THEM, BUT NOT TOGETHER. THEY WORKED B4 IN MY OTHER SYSTEM (DELL DIM. 2400). DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON.

Wizit's not often you need to use cable select, but if you have had to use cable select on one of your drives, your other drive would have to use cable select, but you may need to check in the bios F2 or Del on start up and in the list of drives you should be able to press f12 or similair to auto identify the drives, then save and exit.
