Question about LG 32LG30 32 in. LCD HDTV
Both the receiver & tv turned on okay except the tv is displaying "Not Programmed" & asks if i want to auto programme it. It was & has been working fine up until today. It asks if the connections to the aerial (sky dish in my case) are all connected (which they are). Would i have inadvertantly pushed something wrong when i turned it on? I can't locate the darn manual for it to rectify the problem.
Try to unplug from power both the set and the box for several minutes and then power both back up---this will allow both to try to reboot.

Yes you can split the signal out from the back of the Freesat/HD (not the TV)to the second TV.
Look what outputs are on the Freesat box - the RF (standard cable) output should go to the 2nd TV (TV set to CH3) and the a/v cables,HDMI or DVI cable should go to the new TV - Note:To receive HD the output from the Freesat should be either HDMI,DVI or Composite output (RGB video jacks) with red White for audio. If you have HDMI this is best - it also provides audio.

Make sure both deviced are set for 60 htz, it might be that there is a signal overly if one is set for 50 htz and one for 60 htz double check your screens refresh rate make sure its 60 htz as well. If it flashes once every second while staying on most of the second this could be it. check to also make sure all the cords are correctly positioned and try to keep the cords away from audio equipment stereos/ home audio, this can also cause signal issues.

SOURCE: I have an LG -
I have seen this problem several times. It is caused by faulty digital audio/video processing circuits. If I am not wrong, thehigh-pitched noise is emitted from the speakers, rather than the boards at the back of the set. Replacing the main A/V board should resolve your problem. It is easy to replace and costs about 75-100$ for a set of this size. Let me know if you wish to do it yourself so that I can find you a replacement board.
