Question about LG 32LG30 32 in. LCD HDTV

1 Answer

I just turned my digital receiver on & my LG tv & the tv says it's not programmed

Both the receiver & tv turned on okay except the tv is displaying "Not Programmed" & asks if i want to auto programme it. It was & has been working fine up until today. It asks if the connections to the aerial (sky dish in my case) are all connected (which they are). Would i have inadvertantly pushed something wrong when i turned it on? I can't locate the darn manual for it to rectify the problem.

Cheers tried that to no avail. TV repairman came (no charge for the laugh...) & yes I clicked the wrong button. It appears it's a common alarm (lol) pushing the "aerial button" at the same time as the on button. All fixed now & thanks for helping out:>) Jan

Try to unplug from power both the set and the box for several minutes and then power both back up---this will allow both to try to reboot.

SOURCE: I am about to receive an LG32LF4700 Freesat/HD TV

Yes you can split the signal out from the back of the Freesat/HD (not the TV)to the second TV.
Look what outputs are on the Freesat box - the RF (standard cable) output should go to the 2nd TV (TV set to CH3) and the a/v cables,HDMI or DVI cable should go to the new TV - Note:To receive HD the output from the Freesat should be either HDMI,DVI or Composite output (RGB video jacks) with red White for audio. If you have HDMI this is best - it also provides audio.

SOURCE: Had my Tv for a week and connected it to a Thomson

Make sure both deviced are set for 60 htz, it might be that there is a signal overly if one is set for 50 htz and one for 60 htz double check your screens refresh rate make sure its 60 htz as well. If it flashes once every second while staying on most of the second this could be it. check to also make sure all the cords are correctly positioned and try to keep the cords away from audio equipment stereos/ home audio, this can also cause signal issues.

SOURCE: I have an LG -

I have seen this problem several times. It is caused by faulty digital audio/video processing circuits. If I am not wrong, thehigh-pitched noise is emitted from the speakers, rather than the boards at the back of the set. Replacing the main A/V board should resolve your problem. It is easy to replace and costs about 75-100$ for a set of this size. Let me know if you wish to do it yourself so that I can find you a replacement board.

How to connect and set up my DENON AVR-3300 to my LG tv. Waht connections on amp and tv do I use?

Hi,
  • if you want to listen your TV on your Stereo system thru your receiver, AVR-3300 ** you need to connect "Audio Output " RCA jacks or "Optic cable output" of your TV
** to "AUX input " or "TV" OR "Any input" of your receiver ( except Phone ) or "Optic Cable input"
** than just switch to respective mode on
AVR-3300 RECEIVER corresponding your RCA or Optic connection...
There you go..Your TV sound is on the
AVR-3300
Receiver..By this means whatever you watch on the TV (tuner, satellite , Xbox ) ,it's sound will come thru your stereo..

Hi My LG 52LB9DF tv is slightly blurry - I'm not sure if it's the size or quality of the tv? Even the HD channels are slightly pixellated. My friend has a smaller tv with a much sharper resolution....

1. Your TV has a digital tuner built-in, you do not need a set-top box to receive local digital channels.

2. Try to disconnect the box, hook up the antenna directly to the TV antenna input & program the tuner, you may getting better picture.

OK. For all you regular Joe's like me here's the fix--plain and simple! I have Dish Networks HD receiver, an LG Home Theater System (LHB953) and an LG HD Television - although I suspect this applies for most LG TV-to-LG Audio Systems used in combination with a HD TV). My problem lied within the LG to LG setting known as SIMPLINK which tries to "auto-configure" everything between LG to LG devices.

Do this to make your HD TV (using Dish/DirecTV) play it's HD video display from the satellite provider but play the audio over the LG surround sound speakers:

1. Plug a HDMI cable from your satelite receiver's set-top-box to your HD TV. This will carry your HD "video" ONLY. Click "Input" on the TV remote until the HD video signal shows your desired TV channel from your satellite provider.

2. Plug an HD Optical cable (the one with the red laser) from your LG HTS (Home Theater System) to your satellite box. This will carry your HD "audio" ONLY.

3. This is the magic everyone seems to be overlooking. On the LG TV remote, go into the menu options and disable SIMPLINK by setting SIMPLINK=OFF. This feature allows the video and audio signals to be split over 2 different ports: HD video goes over the HDMI cable and the audio to go over the HD Optical cable.

Hope this helps!

I CANNOT TUNE IN MY LG FREEVIEW TV IN WHEN I AUTO TUNE IT IT CANNOT FIND ANY CHANNELS HAD NO PROBLEM BEFORE THE 4TH NOV

Sounds like the digital tuner modual has failed. Check all connections into the TV and make sure secure. Check with another Tv at that location & make sure you have signal. If all checks out with signal & runnning auto program, then you have a faulty tuner.

Programing codes

If it's not listed you can't. This doesn't stop you from hooking the amp up to the tv.
