try using the call forwarding feature, you can forward it to your cellphone.

If it were my choice, I'd set up an ICD number and forward that to an outside number. Something like pick 400 or 600 plus your extension like 605 (they tend to be defined by default), and go into the group fwd command to dial your cell numbers.
Any call placed from anywhere, either VM, internal, or transfer will go out on another line and dial your cell...assuming you put the fwd number in both places.

Don't laugh. Push the button and read the display. It will either unset DND or CF :-).
The 7100 command is part of the sequence to cancel those features on most phone systems and 790 or 79# will reset the extension. Of course it may be different if you have a TDA or TAW box (*7100) or a KX-T xxx10 system.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a Panasonic
Okay well i'll just give you the long and short. If your caller id was working and then it all of the sudden stopped working you need to call your phone service provider and notify them. If you just got these phones installed then you would need to get a caller id card and turn on the caller id prompt from your phone system.
