Is it possible that you blew out the speakers? Or that they are not connected properly? Showing the front of the Stereo is not at all helpful to understanding your issue. Please give a view of the back of the Stereo so we can determine whether it is improper wiring, blown speaker, or faulty components.

I have a 12 inch Klipsch synergy series sub. for my surround system and want to put my JL audio 12w6 speaker in the box, will the amp drive the woofer or is the ohms a factor?

ohms is a big factor. also it will probably take more power to drive the W-6 so it won't sound as good. I suggest you don't do it. especially if you can't match up the ohms. You will fry the amp, or it will sound like ****.

I have a legacy 4000 watt 15" subwoofer and it has two connections on the sub but only one in the box and the ones on the sub are not labeled + or - so I don't know how to install

Hook it up one way and turn it up a bit, then hook it up the other. As long as you don't crank the volume this won't hurt it.

The louder of the two is probably correct.

The Sub should move Outward with each bass hit, if it is backwards it will "****" in with each bass hit.

Can't get the surround sound to play the rear speakers and small front speaker

Sounds like it's just in 2 channel stereo mode, only 2 speakers working out of 5 and a sub, look for a selector switch for switching to 5.1 surround, as far as the no video problem try replacing the cable for the video connection.

High distortion

The head unit may be rated at 200 watts but it cannot produce more than ~20 watts of real power per channel. There's no way that it can drive the high end speakers to a level that will be needed to compete with the subs on a 1000 watt amplifier.

Speaker Failure

search for a short to chassis when you mount the speaker, there's no problem if the magnet touch the chassis. you can test the cables with a multimeter.check if the tiny flexible cables on the speaker touch metal when is in movement. (on sound).
