Question about JVC Everio Gz-hd620 Black 120gb Hd Hard Drive Camcorder With 30x Zoom pal
Hi, I have an Everio HD-620, which has been recently giving "HDD-Error". I have to take out the HDD to be able to check the SMART (Doesn't work over USB connection), and possibly replace the HDD with a new one. But I am not able to reach to the HDD by removing the screws that are visible.. Can anyone provide an illustration on how to remove/replace the HDD? A Service manual would be great. Thank You.

SOURCE: I just bought the JVC
It's a still camera with video capabilities, but may not have the audio playback. You might need to download it and use either Real Player or Quicktime or MS Media player to hear the audio.
Or there could be a selection in your setup menu: Sound = on or off as the case may be.
But if the abovementioned will not work, you can try to reset the camera and check if you'll have the same problem. follow the steps below
1) Close the LCD monitor to turn off the camera and remove the power supply (battery pack or AC adapter) from the camera, then reattach it. 2) Select [FACTORY PRESET] from the MENU. hope this'll help you. ciao!
