Question about Dell 5100cn Laser Printer
My Dell 3110cn color laser started acting up recently when I replaced a couple of cartridges. The cyan (blue) cartridge is relatively new and occassionally the machine tells me to reseat it. The blues are not very good on anything I print. I'm waiting for the new blue cartridge to change but Dell says if it is not that it is probably the machine control unit. THis is a relatively new unit so I'm puzzled. Also, since this problem began, all pages have a black "haze" on them- it looks like the old copies you used to make on a xerox machine in the early 80s. Any thoughts?
You probably used a "GENERIC" toner cartridge on one of your toners.
This caused the developers to get contaminated, now they need to be replaced (probably Black & Blue)
