Nokia E5 is running slow

Hi. Windows updates the drivers automatically once a new digitally signed driver is detected specially Windows 10. By lag do you mean applications open slower than usual or do you mean browsing with a web browser has become slower? If the latter, try clearing your browser's cache.
- On Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear Now
- On Internet Explorer browser: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Delete
- On Google Chrome: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear Browsing Data
- On Microsoft Edge: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear

If the phone notifies you if the phone memory is getting low. To free phone memory you have the following options:

• Move data that you want to keep to an alternative memory (mass memory or memory card, if available) or to a compatible computer.
• Remove data you no longer need.

Use File Manager or the respective application in your phone to remove data or to move data to alternative memory as described in the user guide. Typically you first mark files to be removed or moved and then you select the corresponding option (Delete orMove to folder).

Use Nokia Ovi Suite to move data to a compatible computer.
In order to free phone memory, you could remove or move the following:

• Messages from Inbox, Drafts and Sent folders in Messaging
• Retrieved e-mail messages from the phone memory
• Saved Web pages. Clear the web browser cache to free some phone memory (e.g. select Options > Clear privacy data >Cache).
• Saved images, videos, or sound files (in Gallery, Photos,Videos or Music player)
• Contact information (in Contacts)
• Calendar notes (in Calendar)
• Downloaded application packages
• If there are applications which are not needed any more, uninstall them with Application Manager
• Any other data that you no longer need

If you are deleting multiple items and any of the following notes are shown: Not enough memory to perform operation. Delete some data first or Memory low. Delete some data, try deleting items one by one (starting from the smallest item). After deleting data, restart (power off/on) your phone.
Tips: Use the memory card or mass memory instead of phone memory in the Camera or other applicable applications in case the selection is available (e.g. via Options > Settings >Memory in use).

Set up Outlook Web Access
1 Press down on the "Menu" button on your phone and then click on the 'Set up e-mail" icon. You can also select "Main menu," then "Email" and then "New."
2 Click on the selection for "Messaging" and then click down on "Options." Select the option for "Settings," then "E-mail." Select "Options" when the application opens and then click on "New mailbox."
3 Make sure that the email setup wizard starts up. Click the option to "Start e-mail setup." Click the option for "Mail for Exchange."
4 Type your email address in the address field and then type your password in the password field. The default password for many Nokia devices is "12345."
5 If you use a different username for the Outlook Web Access, type in the username. Otherwise, leave this field blank.
6 Type in the "URL" from which you access Outlook in order to check your mail. Click on the option for "Next." Wait as the message "Connecting to Mail for Exchange server" displays on the Nokia.
7 Read the terms and conditions and then click on the option "OK" when you accept. Make sure the window "What to sync" appears. Click on the "E-mail" option to sync your email to the Nokia and then click "Next."
8 Click the option for email to either "Delete from phone" or "Keep on phone." Select "Delete" in order to free memory on the device.

Hi, If you want to format your phone,be sure to back up all important files contacts,calendar,messages etc. before doing this method because everything will be deleted after the process.
Then follow these steps: - On your home screen,just type *#7370#, a message pop up "lock code" - Enter the your current code if you change it before,otherwise the code will be 12345 as the default.Your phone will reboot automatically,Now your phone is in original settings. GoodLuck=)

Well, when you deleted some application it has to be done through installer. You might just delete application pressing C button. In that case there's an install file but no application acces. Try use Y-Browser and if you can't find the file then format the memory card.

Memory may help you, it also may not. One thing that can cause a system to run slow is from alot of startup programs and services. Also an infection could cause it to run slow to. I recommend lettnig a professional help you.
