Question about Dell A940 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I've never had a real problem with my A940 until lately. Among the glitches are that once an image has been scanned, it does not automatically open up in Dell PhotoEditor. If I manually open PhotoEditor, there is no image at all, but when I close that program, I'm asked if I want to save the image. If I say "yes", I can't find the phantom image anywhere. I have tried to tweak various features on the printer homepage, as well as double check defaults, but nothing seems to work. Anyone with the same prob?
Have you tried making sure the file association is correct. The file association may have been changed by another program and therefore it will not automatically open. You can select a file the dell has previously scanned and right click and under the file properties select a new file association with the opening program being the Dell Photo Editor program. Hope that helps.
