How to change the printhead
There is a release button up under the upper lip!

Under the upper lip of the Printhead the release botton is there. It is on the side where you put the Black ink cartridge.

I have tried what is suggested , I am not getting anywhere with this. I wasn't able to move my finger to the left of anything. What am I doing wrong!

Installing the print head is really easy. Actually, it just snaps out and the new one snaps in. The key is where you press on the print head to do this. If you go to the following URL you will see how to accomplish this. Go to:
This shows you how to change the print head in a 5300 model. It is similar to the others as well.
If this does not work for you. contact the 800 421 6699 number and ask them to walk you through installing the print head. It will only take a couple of minutes.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. Sounds to me as though the issue is related to your print head and it needing replacement. The best way to do this is to call Kodak at 800 421 6699. The team there will help you get a new print head for your system.
You can also go to the following web site to get the help you need and a new print head sent to you. Just complete the requested information and at the end of the review a screen is offered which will send a print head. Try visiting:
Once you complete that process you can also ask the system for details on how to install the print head once it is delivered. There are instructions in the box as well. It is quite a simple process.

You can find illustrated instructions on how to remove the old printhead, as well as on how to put the new printhead back in place.
