Please go to Control Panel->System->HW->Device Manager. Click on the Mouse and Other Pointing Devices. Select the Touch Pad and from Action in menu select properties. In Advanced option her you can disable the touch pad.

Hi,
Please follow these steps,there are different way on going to BIOS depending on the brand of the laptop.
1
Turn on your computer

Hold down F2, this will take you into BIOS. On some computers it might be the DEL key, or F1.

Change the settings in BIOS to what you desire. You will see parameters for various devices, if your BIOS allows it, you can even overclock the CPU.

Look at the BIOS menu. You will be able to see the make, model, and capacity of your hard drive, processor speed, time and date, among many other settings.

Click "exit without saving changes" if you make a mistake, and nothing will be changed.

When the computer is starting up, hit the F8 key 3-4 times and it shall give you a couple of options of how to start the computer. Select "safe mode". Once the computer is started up, goto Start -> Dell Precision and then theres going to be something called as System Maintainance, you can choose a factory reset from there.

go to www.dell.com give your service tag and go to the support and download the diagnostic test software for computer batte. and fix it.
Your equipment can have installed too the software for diagnostic RUN and make the test.
