Question about Sony Ericsson W910i Cellular Phone
I found a w910i phone yesterday, it is locked to meteor and worked with the sim card in it originally. I put my sim in and many others (all meteor) but it says 'inactive sim' where the network logo should be. I cando everything on the phone apart from sending/recieving texts and makin/recieving calls. Is there a function on the phone where no other sim can work?
Lesson 2 me 1 think u should turn of for 5min than turn it on go setting menu ! than go for network setting after that u can which ever your Sim card is choose it and it will connection and again put it of for 5min than put it on ,it will definitely i will work out ham ok !

I imagine that the phone has been assigned to someone else and they have the phone number and codes to it. They may still be paying the monthly bill for usage on it. This is a logical deduction since you are not able to send/receive text or make/receive calls. I would assume that they accidentally lost the phone and might have reported it as lost. Most cell phones have chips to locate the phone in case of emergency. l am not judging you by any means, but has it occurred to you to turn it in where you found it? If no one claims it within a certain amount of time, you could be contacted and the phone returned to you. You might also watch newspapers to see if anyone is offering a reward for the phone. A lot of times, people would offer something of a monetary value to have the phone returned. That is just what I would do, if I were in your shoes. Good luck.
