Question about Lakewood Oil-Filled Electric Radiator Heater

Lakewood oil filled heater just quit heating

It appears both breakers are on and it is dialed to high but no heat

    It heats good, but they just suddenly quit heating. Lights are on but no heat. I,m not going to waste any more money on these from Walmart again. Just like Wal-Mart, cheap junk, cheap less than one month old non-working heater.

    I had this oil-filled heater for about 2 yrs now - heats well and then suddenly quit, while the the power button lights were on. Thank God it didn't cause a fire but I like to know what's happened. Otherwise, I don't want to buy another one even though I liked it while it lasted.

Heater quit heating It still has power to it but does not heat up

With a volt meter see if you are getting 110 volts out of the thermastat to the heater element.

It just quit putting out heat

These appear to cheap heaters and many people have problems with them. I believe this problem to be the temp sensor. My suggestion is to replace the heater with a new one... Its too costly to replace that sensor.

Lakewood oil-filled heater not heating up

It is quite possibly the thermostat. Dont risk your health these heaters are not very expensive and I would suggest going to buy a new one from your local department store.
