Some laptops have a switch that must be toggle for the wireless to work. Check Control Panel/Admin Tools/Services to verify that the Wireless Zero Config is running.

I have a DI 624 router which is being used by laptops in our house but when i try to find the wireless network on my iphone, ipad and other computers I can't see the network, can you please help? thanks

Did you set the router to _NOT_ "broadcast" the SSID?

On the iPad/iPhone, under Settings, did you "enable" the WiFi?

Does the iPhone detect wireless networks at an Internet Cafe' or a Starbucks or a Public Library?

Did you configure the router to allow only specific MAC-addresses?

Can you view the "log-file" on the router, to see what computers tried to connect?

ZyXEL P-330W wireless router

No it will not work you cannot connect a router to another router wirelessly and it will most likely not be detecting each other, routers are built to transmit internet signals from modems if you have a router and a computer but you do not have your own internet connection that will not work conencting to another router you will need USB Wifi Card transmitter/reciever to be able to connect to your friends wireless internet.

but if your friend only has a modem you can lend him your router and get a USB wifi transmitter/reciever to be able to connect to your router that is conencted to your friends modem this will work but will not work if you and you friend will both have a router creating a network.

No connectivity

So your wireless router won't work?

Try this:
1. Click Start of windows logo.
2. Click run>Type cmd>Type ipconfig /all.
3. Find the MAC address/Physical address (like 00:00:00:00...) which is connected to the modem.
4. Go to wireless router settings (
5. Go to MAC address tab, copy your MAC address of your network.
6. Before that, go to home page and choose Dynamic IP (if this same to before, leave it.)

Error 322 router not detected

For starters you could hardwire your laptop to any of the 4 ethernet ports on the router then check if you have internet connection that way, now to connect wirlelessly you need to check if there is any wireless security enabled on the router, since your already hardwired to the router you can access the configuration page of the router by typing on the address bar or Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari. When you are prompted for a username and password just type Admin for the username and leave the password blank. Now you will see the setup page of the router, select if you want to run the setup wizard or choose manual setup for configuration. On the left hand side you will see three option, Internet, Wireless Settings and Network.
