We seem to have developed a problem with our boiler, worcester 20/25 heatsave. Every time we turn on a hot water tap, when we turn the tap off, there apears to be a loud noise from the boiler or pipes for a second or so. The heating and hot water etc are working fine. This has developed iver the last week or so?

1. If there is no water on the floor, your crack is probably OK so far. The water thing is a worry though. NEVER fire a boiler that is low on water. Adding water to a hot boiler will crack it. Tell me all you can on what components you have in the water and gas lines.

i would take it back trade it in for a new one depending on how long you've had the boiler for, i ad the same problem with mine, so i brought mine back in they couldn't fine the problem so the gave me a new free of charge, also read the manual for that thing thats one thing i never did when i first got mine

Sounds like it could be the pressure vessel has lost its pressure .

I think on this one there should be a reset button [red] on the left hand top of the casing - or lower the control panel [ phillips screw on each side] and the button is on the left of the base plate. Press this and try the heating.or hot tap
P.S. if you're on a prepayment meter check you have gas.

it sounds like your shut off valve might be bad even though it turns on and off by turing it doesn't mean that the washer is not stuck to the seat and not opening, try replacing the valve
