Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

My Epson (H311A) needs the main board. They told me that it comes with the optics and alltogether cost 1000$. The projector costs less. What can I do?

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: Epson EMP-74 - Blinking Red Light

Hi Sootycat

Ok , most of the time this would be the Fan.Powerboard that is faulty then and unfortunatelly it would be better to replace the part rather than having it repaired.

Repaired Powerboards normally give the same problem a couple of months down the line.

SOURCE: X2 board

I have ballast problems with several X2 X3 projectors and even a C180 (Proxima) although with different ballast power layout. My X2 units mostly seem to have blown a pair of output FETs (2SK3568), but that is only part of the problem. One unit powers up, but just won't strike the lamp. Installing a good ballast power supply board fixes the problem, but I can't find any place to buy or repair these without sending the whole projector in for repair.

Perhaps it is time to trace out the schematic of these boards and have someone start repairing them at big profits.

The link below is where you can get the information about how to buy Fujitsu television parts. I have no idea if they will sell to non contracted servicers. These sets are serviced mainly by board swapping. You can eaily buy boards that you think are defective, and they are not the fault. This is the gamble you will be taking when servicing these sets yourself.

Where can I buy a main board for an Infocus SP7200 projector? The part number is 510-1720-3L-00

This projector, although its original retail price approached $7,000 was last shipped in 2005 and is obsolete. Parts are extremely difficult to find and a replacement lamp may cost more than 50% of the replacement cost for an entirely new 1000 Lumen home theater projector. I would suggest replacing the projector rather than attempting to repair it.

The feed mechanism in my Espon 3800 quit working. Is it affordable to fix or should I dump it?

In Case, if the Feed Mechanism Quit Working, it is better to have New Printer as the Cost of Repair would be high relevant to the Cost of New Printer.

I wish i could have a Better Answer.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a Infocus SP7200 projector that will not power up. The power led is not turing on. I have tried different plugs, etc. I believe the problem is inside the projector but can not determine how to take...

One way of telling if its the power supply is apply power to the projector and look at fans on the side. If they don't move then its a power supply issue. The case is only held together with 4 screws. Two in the back and two underneath. The and then it just snaps apart. I'd be careful in there since there are some delicate optical parts. I can fix this for you for less then it cost to send to infocus or to a repair shop. Ebay Id is Gtitubro

No pwer to Infocus sp 4805

My 4805 made a loud pop noise and smoke and died.

I thought it the bulb and wasted $340 on that purchase.

They are subject to overheating and the main circuit board may be fried.
It cost me $50 for a tech to confirm my suspicons of the same.

Look at the main circuit board and you might idenify a scorched
overheated area.. My shop told me you can purchase a new main
board.. Diagnosed by no power to the bulb...
