How to get to the freeze plug on a 94 chevy 350 truck?

Need to relace freeze plug on the back side of motor- how to get to it?

There may be a plug puller out there but if so I am not aware of it. I suggest you take a sharp punch and drive it through the center of the plug and pry it out or you might be able to catch an inside edge and then pry it out. Be careful not to score the engine block wall where the new plug will go or else the new plug will leak.

Need a spark plug diagram for 94 chevy 1500 5.7 350


I don't have one handy. But the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. If you haven't pulled all your wires off the distributor find the one that goes to the drivers side front. This is # 1. It goes clockwise from there. If you know the cylinder #'s. Hope this helps.

Leaking water from back of motor


The 350 engine has two freeze plugs on the back of the block between the engine and the trans. Also could be the intake manifold gasgets. It could be the heater port on the intake(front right of intake) that runs along the top of the intake and then off the back of the engine

Remove and replacefreeze plugs on 350 chevy


their are 8 of them , 2 located on the back of engine where the tranny bolts, 2 on each side of the block below the heads, their is also 2 on each side of timing cover,

check your vacuum lines they are weather cracked and leak vacuum air
