Question about JVC Everio GZ-HD620 (120 GB) AVCHD Camcorder

Open Question

How to open JVC Everio GZ-HD620 ?

Hi, I have an JVC Everio GZ-HD620 (120 GB) AVCHD Camcorder, which recently started giving HDD Error. I need to take out the HDD to be able to do SMART analysis (Doesn't work over USB) and possibly replace it. But i can't access the HDD by just opening the visible screws, and i don't want to break anything by applying force. Can you please provide an illustration on how to reach / replace the HDD? A Service manual would be great. Thank You.

I would connect to the computer and run a couple of anti virus programs through it. reformat it and run chkdsk to repair any faults refit to camera and reformat again in the camera.

How do I get time date stamp to show on video footage taken with JVC Everio GZ-HD620

The AVCHD file contains the time date stamp as subtitle track. Any player that can show subtitles can show the time/date stamp (I use Videolan Player).

Usually, after downloading the avchd files to my computer, i do an OCR on the sub file and convert it to .srt, as well as conver the avchd into .mkv and include teh subtitle file into it.
