I just purchased a hm 1800 bluetooth and any person I calls hears continous echos

I could hear the person I call, but the person cannot hear me


Ensure you haven't muted your call. Press both volume buttons. If this doesn't work there may be a problem with your microphone. Also ensure your boom is fully extended.

I've just bought a Nokia Bluetooth headset BH-503, using it with Nokia 6300 phone. The person I'm calling says he hears terrible echo, but I hear fine


Check where your phone is during the conversation. Even if it is written that Bluetooth works fine up to 10m I usually have problems when phone is in the pocket on the other body side that my headset receiver.

Go to your phone carrier and exchange the phone out to one that doesn't have echo.

Problem hearing


Have you tried calling other person and check if it will happen again? Have you tried soft reset on the phone by removing the battery for 1 minute and then re-attach it again? If none of this helps you resolve the issue, you can call your SP or the store where you purchase it. You should have a 30 days warranty from the store and tell them the issues. They should be able to replace it. Your other option is to send your phone for repair. Call Samsung 1-800-762-7864.

Echoing is usually a simple problem to fix, try turning the phone a bit.
Echoing comes from the phone hearing itself. Possible, but seldom the case, is crosstalk from the headset being poorly manufactured.

My sound is clear but caller on other end hears a echo of his own voice. HELP?


Its like calling into a radio station going on the air, and having your radio turned up while on the air you will always get an echo. Or at least a delay that other people will hear on their radio. it's the same way, with using a Car Bluetooth because they are hearing their voice coming through the speakers and going back into the microphone and then they hear that and there is your Echo. Unfortunately there is really nothing you can do except for ask them to deal with it :-(
