Re: display

Try running the Sansa Recovery tool.

If it fails, unplug the mp3 from your computer, hold in the volume + button and re-connect the player to the computer. After 60 seconds, Windows will go into recovery mode, and rescue the player.

If the above methods fail, you are out of luck.

Reset does not work , screen blank ,responds to nothing.have tried just about everything , where can I send it for repair ,

Most probably the battery causing thr problem. Try to reset to factory settings and or format the unit. Sometimes there are issues with author rights and in that case You have to get the unit to a SONY technical service to clear its internal memory.

1) Photos ( J Peg ) are not displayed in the screen once loaded into the SanDisk. 2) Videos are not reproduced 3) Only Music is copied & reproduced.

You need to use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert photos and videos to a format the Sansa can handle.

TruTech is a "value line" and not necessarily known for high quality or long lasting products. Now you know why iPods cost so much.

T30 always comes up with record-ready display screen

T30 defaults to an opening display screen based on where you were when you last used the device. When leaving from the record folder and record mode, you will always open with the record-ready screen. If you left your T30 while in the music folder playing a music file, you will be returned to that.

This record-ready display screen has a numeric and bar time line. The numeric values of the line are in hrs:min:seconds. This line is also split: the right half of the line indicates the total amount of available recording time, while the left half indicates your time as you record. If you compare the values of the right and left sides of the numeric bar while you are recording, you will see that the right side is diminishing as the left side increases in numeric value. When you complete your recording and save your track, the right side will now indicate the new total time (the amount your screen first displayed LESS the time value of the track just recorded).

When you are playing a music file, if you watch the time display, you will see the numeric information changing in the same way. The left side indicates how may hrs:min:seconds your track has played while the right side indicates the total time value for that file and will be correspondingly decreasing while you play your music file.

So in the short, you don't need to worry much about your display screen unless you open in the wrong folder or you need more recording time than is available. Then it has a message for you.

How can I delete things that show up on my mp3 but not on my computer?

For those who wish to remove all of the music on your Philips MP3 player.. You should have a ICON on your desktop titled Philips Device Manager. Double click on the icon to open it and connect your mp3 player to the computer. You may first want to click on Update just to make sure you have the latest updates, if there are new updates and you choose to download the updates this will erase all of your music, pictures, etc. from your mp3 player. If you get a message that you mp3 player is the latest updates then go to the repair tab and click on repair. This will also erase all of your music and data from your mp3 player and leave it completely blank just like it was brand new. Finally, after so many hours of trying to figure out why I had 5 duplicates of just about every song.
