The fuse checked out OK and there was no sign of a leak. After repeated tries pushing the power button it came on,I can't get the remote to do anything,I did bring up the menu with the buttons on the front, The set would not turn off using the power button. Could there be a problem with the buttons? the set was given to me and I'd like to get it working. No manual though. Thank you for the help

Some of these did have problems with the front keyboard with the buttons, I have had a few where from the inside the wires from the keyboard come back and plug into a tiny board at the lens on top for the three tubes, A keyboard can also stop the remote from working as it has priority over the remote--easy enought to know if you disconnect it the remote receiver is on that tiny board also, set might work with the remote only then.Note that you may be able to test the remote yourself: Most digital cameras in a very dark room will react with a flash on the camera display screen when the remote is pointed at them and buttons pressed, the room has to be very dark and the flash will be tiny.

The wire disconnect worked perfectly. I have good picture & sound. Now I have a 12''highby 36''long black bar on bottom 1/2 of screen, when I change volume it goes away till the volume bar goes away then it comes right back?? I reset everything on the menu list to no good. So far your help has been perfect,I hope to be some help to someone too. Thank you

The 195 chassis has some common issues----it first has a 5 amp fuse just inside where the power cord connects.

The other common issues are a bad High Voltage Transformer or Glycol leaking from tubes onto main board---usually on right side of main board to the left(seen from behind the set)

Look for the fuse, its in a snap in holder first.

Hi i have connected all the cables up correctly & have it all working except i have some sort of interferance coming through.i have a contant crackling & on & off buzzing sound, sound like...

First thing: Make sure ALL and I do mean ALL of your interconnected equipment is POWERED from the SAME receptacle. Powering different parts from different receptacles in a building will surely get ground bounce buzz and ALSO subject the equipment to hazards of circuit damage.
The audio connecting cables should be BALANCED lines where possible... either XLR or TRS cables. Problems like you are having are common when CONSUMER grade equipment is mixed with PROFESSIONAL equipment. Anyway, get all the stuff powered from the same receptacle and get back to me if you still have the problem. Note you may have to run three wire extension cords if devices are separated a bit... the pro's have to do that to avoid noise. All devices should have three wire (grounding) cords and/or grounding wires connecting chassis...

I have a Casio CTK 551 Keyboard, when the AC adaptor is connected and power is turned on, the Keyboard lights up for a few seconds then turns off. I noticed no red light lights up when the AC adaptor is...

The adapter has a problem... likely a poor connection of input power that briefly contacts building up some voltage that is then stored in the capacitors in the adapter which then discharge quicklly when you turn on the Casio. The adapters with FIXED blades OFTEN have problems contacting the connections in wall receptacles and extension cords. You may need to bend the blades slightly or use a better receptacle like connector. IF your adapter has a three wire cord from it to the wall receptacle, those SOMETIMES don't seat well...

It MAY have burned a contact in the receptacle it plugs into... check that first. When a plug comes out while under load burning of the contacts is often the result. eplace the receptacle AND the plug on the cord as a first step.

Lights won't go on

Sounds like the timer may not be getting power.

Turn the circuit breaker that supplies the circuit OFF then ON, as sometimes it's hard to tell if a breaker has tripped by looking at it.

It's possible that the circuit is controlled by a switch that someone may have inadvertently turned OFF.

Also, it's very likely that the circuit is fed from a GFCI receptacle (the kind with the test and reset buttons that are usually found in kitchens and bathrooms) that may have tripped. Those receptacles can sometimes be found in very obscure places. Check outside receptacles too.

If anyone has been digging in the yard or flower beds it's possible that the cable may have been damaged.

No picture or sound mitsubishi 62525

Capacitor failure is the most likely scenario the FMT ans Signal PWB would cause the picture interference and the power pwb would cause the lamp light to turn red and give a 34 code when the device/ input and menu buttons are pressed in together and held for five seconds. That chassis has issues with every board in the chassis having failed capacitors you can get repair kits for the V26 chassis at the follwing link that come with instructions. Your model is the V26 chassis. Heres the link.
