Turn device over so that the belt clip is facing you and the winder is now on the left.
You will notice a recessed button to the centre and right of the belt clip. Depress this button firmly with an thin instrument (I used a jeweler's screwdriver but a ballpoint pen should suffice) while pulling/pushing belt clip to the left over top of winding handle.
The recess for the two AAA batteries can be accessed. Replacement procedure of belt clip cover is reverse of its removal.

because its a power-hungry beast..... i would make it a battery pack modification and just use it as a in-car recorder for insurance purposes.

Wii uses battery to fast


You can buy Energizer rechargables at one of the Dollar stores which has 4 batteries and a charger for $10!I did it and they last a long time!Eating batteries is just the nature of the beast.Good luck!

I just tried it and didn't have a problem, sometimes those "catcha" things can be tricky I would try again, if you can't read it it gives you the option to do another one. hope that helps. good luck!
