Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Wow. I have never heard of this model. Are you sure it is a Casio register? They usually start with TK, SE, TE, QT. Double check your machine

SOURCE: how change monetary mode on

This machine has been initialised incorrectly for your country. It will have to have all memory wiped if you want to change this. You will need to have the programming manual ready. It can be found here if you do not have one: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-100_users_and_programming_manual.html
When you have it, let me know and I'll talk you through the RAM clear and decimal change. Then you can work your way through the programming.

Casio te-2400 cash register- making transactions

Try this: Turn key to program mode 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL
This should remove the preset amount from the CASH button. Now it should work normally when finishing the sale.
Now turn back to REG mode when entering the price, DO NOT use a decimal, so type 2000 for 20 dollars. Now press a PLU (item) button. SUBTOTAL Type the amount received (NO DECIMAL, so 5000 for 50 dollars) Press CASH Change should be displayed, and drawer open

CANNOT PROGRAMME THE VAT AMOUNT INTO CASIO TE 2000

Hi.
Has it had the system options set for tax? Was it calculating previously? Usually you just need to change the rate when you have a tax increase.
