There should be a display adjustment menu on the monitor. They vary from model to model and can be not very user friendly. You will have toggle between the few buttons on the monitor itself. In your case stretch and adjust to right side.

A little tricky, but there may be an auto adjust if you are lucky. gl

Unfortunately the line didn't show up in the video.

1) New LCD screen?
Should have an Installation CD Disk that comes with it. Use it if so.
Has the Drivers on it.

Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device.

Don't know which version of the Windows O/S you have.
The device in this case is the LCD monitor.

2) What is the NATIVE screen resolution for the LCD monitor.
Look up the specs on the monitor using it's Model Number on back.

For example I installed an HP 2009M 20-inch widescreen monitor, along with the 26-inch RCA ENV HDTV I use for a monitor.

I had to use the drivers from the disk, but could still not set the native resolution in Display Properties.
There is an alternate resolution to the native one that can be used.
The drivers from the disk made it so.

The 20 inch widescreen is 1600 x 900 (Pixels)
The 26 inch HDTV is set at 1360 x 768 (Pixels)

Right-click on an empty area of your desktop screen.
Left-click on Properties at the bottom of the list.
In the Display Properties window click on the Settings tab.

What is the Screen resolution setting? What is it supposed to be?
The Slider on the line is clicked on with the left mouse button, left mouse button held down; then the Slider is slid to the left to decrease screen resolution, or to the right to increase with the mouse.

Color quality should be set to High (32-bit)

1) Installing software (Drivers) from the Installation disk, (Or from the monitor manufacturers support website);
And,
2) Setting the screen resolution;

doesn't help, replace the monitor cable with a known to be good one.

Still no? Your LCD monitor is going out.

even technicians who are familiar with those units, before installing new lamps, they use a 'calibration unit' for that or any particular model lamp and calibrate them right after installation. If you don't have the proper calibrator and adjust them right after you installed them, you will get that result. Even experience techs come across that problem if the calibration is not done properly. Also, each lamp for a different color value, has its own calibration/sync values.

Samsung printer CLX-4195FW Power on then: [7]

The problem is caused by the GUI OPE Controller.
Part code JC92-02505A.

After replacing, and reassembling, you need to switch the printer on, while holding down the "0" key. This puts the printer into calibration mode for the LCD touch display. Go through the sequence on the screen and then restart the printer. If you do not got through the calibration, the touch screen will not work ?

My touch screen is about half inch out of sync. If I type a 6 I get a 5 and if i type a 5 i get a 4. I cant get anything on the right side of the screen. I have tried the calibration button but I cant...

all you have to do is back up your phone, contacts, messages, and images, everything that needs backing up..
since calibration doesn't work now, one way to help you is to brought it back to it's factory default settings, be reminded that this will lose all user settings..
to do this, all you have to do is remove your sim, and memory card.. and on your keypad, as if you are making a call, type the following codes.. *2767*3855# it will bring your phone back to its factory settings.. once finished, reinsert everything, sim and battery and memory card..
if somehow this doesn't help you.. send it to your nearest service center for proper diagnosis and recommendations.. :) goodluck..

Green lines down length of screen on my samsung 40 inch LE40F8

The reason for the green lines are the resolution. I'm assuming you're TV is set at 1080i, not 720p or 1080p correct? What happens is the "i" stands for interlaced, meaning, your TV displays your images with scan-lines. The "p" stands for progressive, meaning, TV displays picture as a whole. You can not visibly see the scan lines when seeing 1080i, but certain TV programs are not outputting their show to the resolution you're at, which will cause you to have the green line up at the top of your TV. SOME TVs might let you adjust the settings to rid yourself of the scanline, but most consumer TVs will not let you without the maintenance code to protect your unit from over calibrating and braking your television. Hope this helps.

Thin red line in middle of screen on nec 42 inch plasma monitor

I had the same problem -red, vertical bars along the right side of my Samsung 42" Plasma- and this is what fixed it: Removed unterminated cable.
I had hooked up an HD video camera to the set about two weeks ago. While I disconnected the camera I left the other end of the connector cable plugged into the T.V.. As I've since learned from friends who work in television, this is what's called an "unterminated cable" -meaning one end is unconnected. It can lead to problems with electrical interference and appears to have been the problem in this case; When I disconnected this cable from the T.V. the red bars went away.
So, check your cables. Make sure everything is properly connected and get rid of anything that might be picking up interference.
