Where can i buy charger and ac adapter or battery charger for Spectroniq PDV-70x

Power adapters for most electronic devices can usually be readily found on EBay for a reasonable price.

Here is a direct link to an AC power adapter for that model currently available for around $16 US:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-AC-power-adapter-Spectroniq-PDV-70X-DVD-player-/250823360167?pt=Laptop_Batteries&hash=item3a663cbea7

And here is a link to a 12V Car power adapter for that model as well currently available for around $13 US:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Adapter-Power-Cord-4-Spectroniq-PDV-70X-DVD-Player-/110734902621?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c850855d

Just use your mouse to click on the links, which are the underlined and blue highlighted text just above.

This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information and items at the website indicated.

Just search for the term: PDV-70x in the EBay search box and you will see many items available for various prices. Just find the one you want at the best price, order it online, and have it delivered right to you. Just be sure to consider and include the different shipping charges to your location which are listed just below the asking price of the items.

I hope this was helpful.

Good luck and take care.

Joe.

We've misplaced the power supply that charges the battery our dvd player which was purchased several years ago from Shopko. Can it be replaced?

I recommend you contact (email/phone) any seller and verify that the offered adapter is compatible with your model & serial number before buying:

My spectroniq dvd player[portable] keeps blinking won't stay on.

Sounds like a hardware problem.
Either the power supply or one of it's power on self checks is probably reporting a failure.

If it's still under warranty, call the manufacture technical or customer support for a possible replacement.

Good morning, My tv is only 3 1/2 years old. It just stop working, I changed the batteries in the remote and still won t work, I will try to turn it on, it comes on for about 2 seconds then goes off...

Hi, there must be something wrong in the power supply circuit, usually because of bad or off value components, if the TV actually gets a picture and cutts off, the power supply could be the circuit to suspect, if the tv does not give a picture, it only does the click and the power light turns on but nothing else happens, there could be something else wrong besides the power supply circuit.

Dvd won't load

I too have a SpectronIQ PD 300-HD that came bundled with my 32" LCD tv (PLTV-3250) and have had the exact same problem. The only thing that worked for me was to totally unhook the DVD player from the tv (HDMI cables and everything) and unplug it from the power source for a minimum of 30 minutes to try to reset it to the factory defaults. The last time I tried this, however, it didn't work. I'm now having a problem with my TV as well - I just got my HD DVR from Dish Network and my picture keeps going from black screen to the blue "just turned on" screen, with the power light going from green to red. Then, suddenly the picture comes back, but sometimes the picture is "tiled", like the tiles news broadcasts use to hide someone's identity. I even have a Dish Network tech at my house RIGHT NOW who is having all kinds of problems figuring out what the problem is, but he thinks it's - GASP - the TV! Of course, since SpectronIQ went bankrupt and Shop NBC (the retailer the set was purchased from, as a GIFT, no less) has been absolutely USELESS, I have no idea what to do and am absolutely LOATH to purchase a new LCD tv. Does anyone know what can be done?

No power

IF that player is new, take it back. I have the same problem on my daughters, but it worked fine until one day suddenly no power. I took it apart and found a fuse inside. I am trying to find a replacement fuse to see if that works. I had a stereo amp once that did the same thing and I replaced the fuse inside and all was well. Hope this is the same thing.

DVD light stays constant dim red (orange).

One usefull thing to try is the reset button that should be on the back of the player(that's where it is on another player I know of). It's likely that your problem started already with the stuck DVD, and that the manual eject wasn't the cause of it. Don't miss on the warranty if still valid. I also found something interesting, this is probably a known problem, and cyberhome is somewhat shirking responsibility... following the directions on the cyberhome support pages site on how to manualy eject a disc, it says "If the unit is an orange or flashing light then you may need to send it in for service. If the unit was purchased after 3 months but within 1 year you will have to pay a fee of $14.95 with proof of purchase. If the unit is past 1 year or no proof of purchase then you will have to pay $34.95. If you are still under the return policy with the retailer you purchased the unit from try returning it for an exchange." which to me means that they expect this to happen often, and that it's a 100% design flaw. So go make some noise, and tell them you know what's going on, and you'll start a website trashing them if they don't fix it free of charge etc etc ;] Good luck, let us know how it turned out, comment back!
