I have a 2 gb Sansa. I unplugged form the p/c and flipped it over. I removed the 4 screws on the back and removed and reinserted the battery. It worked for me and I didn''t have any more problems with it.

Sansa Fuze won't charge from laptop.

Have you downloaded the latest drivers? Have you gone into control panel and device manager, and make sure the device is enabled and allowed through your firewall? Do you have the software downloaded for it?
You can also go to my computer, and find sansa drive folder which you can go to and check the properties to make sure device is NOT set to read or write only.

Sansa fuse wont charge

On your Sansa Go to "Settings" then "System Settings" then "USB Mode," change it to MSC, now try connecting it. If that doesn't work try the other modes just in case.
Hope this helps!

I have a sansa fuse and a jvc home theater. when i plug the sansa into the jvc's usb port all i get is ''reading'' on the jvc display screen and connected on the sansa screen. Do i need a memory card?

Your Fuze MAY have an option to change USB modes If it has this option, go into the "Settings" menu and under "USB" change the mode the Fuze uses to communicate and see if that helps.

Keep in mind, changing it will affect how it connects to the computer too, so you may have to change the setting each time you switch between the computer and the home theater, unless you find a mode that works for both.

Can not down load voice recording to computer: Sansa 280.

You can try few simple steps like changing the USB ports, turning off & turning on the mp3 player and then reconnecting it, and then changing the USB mode on device: Menu --> Settings --> USB mode: MSC or MTP
If these don't work, try the steps here: Sansa e250 Not Detected in PC

Player is stuck in a given mode

Did you hold the power button for 15 seconds until the unit resets?

Try holding down the power button for 10 seconds to reset it. if this does not work you need to go onto Sansa's website and download the updater and upgrade the firmware. Let me know if this works or not, if not I will look into it a little further.
