What size belts do i need for a fifty inch blower

Use a string to wrap around the table and pulley to get close approximation of size. Reduce number by a smidge and get that.

Is there a part number on the belt itself? Try googling the model number and putting in belt.

There are 5 belts listed! There is nothing that relates to a mower or deck serial number either.
You have to know the model numbr of the deck (see item 1 same link to cross ref your belt size)

Sears will not tell you what size of belt you need. They only list parts by part number. But this machine uses MTD belts and you can get them at searspartsdirect.com or your local mower shop can order them through MTD.

18 inch is the biggest I seen however I couln't find your model number. Here is a site tell you evertthing You need to know.

Without the model number, I couldn't tell you what belt goes on the ground drive. That 174883 is a 5/8 x 97" and is your deck drive belt. Your ground drive belt may just need replacing. They will wear thin and loosen up between the pulleys and cause the problems you're having. The old belt may still have the numbers on it.

I bought a repair manual from Clymer and found the belt sizes for my Atlas 12.5022 tiller. The manual lists a 1/2 inch by by 36 inch forward belt and 1/2 inch by 32 inch reverse belt for the model 12-5100. Good luck. Don't bother to buy the Clyme manual. It isn't very complete.
