Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do i turn the "touchscreen" off on an Asus S200E vivobook touchscreen laptop? please i need help urgent!

Press the Windows logo key + X.

Click the little arrow next to Human Interface Devices to expand the list.

Click the touch screen driver (in my case, NextWindow Voltron Touch Screen).

Right-click, and select Disable from the list.

Click Yes on the dialog box that asks if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

When you want your touch screen to work again, follow the process above, EXCEPT when right-clicking the touch screen driver, select Enable

The display only about 5"

Hi there,

Try changing the screen resolution your display screen might be having trouble supporting the resolution you are currently using. If this does not work try updating the video driver for your computer.

To change the screen resolution:

Win XP:

Right click on the desktop -> Choose PROPERTIES -> Click the SETTINGS tab and change the resolution click apply and then ok

Win Vista:

Right click Desktop -> Choose Personalize -> Change the screen resolution click apply and ok

Win 7:

Right click the Desktop -> Choose Screen Resolution -> change it and click apply and ok

If the above steps does not work try going to the sony vaio support site and download the updated driver for your Video Display.

Hope this helps!

Screen was blank but power light lit. Rebooted power light lit (light blue but no working screen?

Shut down system by using poer button on tower then unplug tower. Turn power back on and boot in "safe mode with networking". When screen comes up, click on "start", then "control panel". Find and click on "device manager", open and click on continue. Click on box(on right) of "display adaptors". Do you see a warning, ?, !, or yellow triangle? If so click on that and follow proceedure. Right click on your device and in the list you should see "disable". If you see "enable" click on that and exit. Right click on your device again and click on properties. You should see "this device is working properly". If you are using on board graphics, not a graphics card, click on "drivers" tab. Then click on "automatically search for updates...". When finished, restart your system. If you have a graphics card you should update with manufacturer. Let me know make and model of card if you have one. If you are getting beep codes it could be your ram.

You will need to ensure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. Try the following:

1. Right-click your desktop and select "Screen Resolution"
2. Click "Advanced settings"
3. On the Adapter tab, click "Properties"
4. On the Driver tab, click "Update Driver"

If this doesn't work, try using the color calibration tool.

4. Click "Next" in the bottom right corner and follow the instructions

This is a simple work around, but it worked for me. Create a new user and make that account the Administrator. Log in with the new account an then run Adobe and click Accept. Some reason this worked for me. Good Luck.
