Question about Lenovo Computers & Internet
I have Lenovo G560 .. there is some problem with battery As i have checked my charger is working but my battery is not charging? my laptop is working on AC only if disconnect charger Laptop will not work.... can any one help me ?
If your laptop computer runs normally on the ac adapter, but the battery won't charge, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Remove the battery from the system.
2) Look at the connectors in the bay and on the battery for signs of physical damage.
3) Check the battery charge by pressing the status button or image on the battery near the LED's. Note: The lights indicate the current amount of charge on the battery. If all the LED's come on when you press on the butto, the battery is fully charged. If fewer lights are lit, then the battery is partially charged. If any lights flashm or blinkm there could be a problem with the battery.
4) Reinsert the battery; puch until it locks into place and the latch snaps back to the locked position.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Toshiba Laptop Wont Boot.
You mentioned the laptop "eventually shuts off", at what point does it do this?
other than that, I'd say you are on the right track- most likely (but not in all cases), the new AC adapter will probably not fix the problem. Offhand, it sounds like either the Motherboard is shorting out, or the component charging the battery is faulty to me. Either may require service by being sent to your laptop manufacturer or the store you bought it from.
It seems odd that the laptop is not starting up without a battery- most laptops i've looked at are capable of running on only AC power.

Because of BIOS. Basic Input/Output System.
Battery has 'lost track', of what the battery state of charge is.
Try Recalibrate BIOS

I recommend grabbing an auto-voltage switching laptop charger. I'd tryUniversal Laptop Chargers, I bought mine from them a couple of monthsago and it works a treat.
Most importantly for you I think, if you buy from them and it doesn'tfit, I believe they will give you a refund. However, a quick look ontheir website suggests they have the right head for a Dell laptop, so Ithink you'll be fine.
I personally like it since it basically has the look and feel of a 120pound charger you can buy at PC World, but for a fraction of the pricesince they're online. And it charges my mobile phone too, so I'm veryhappy with it. :-)
Let us know how you get on!
