No pressure Hi there i bought a La Pavoni Professional 16 about two weeks ago and i just tried to make a coffee but the pressure is just coming straight out of what i think is the relief valve,there for i have no pressure in the machine,can anyone help.Thanks Damien.

Hi if there is Vapor coming from the grouphead when the lever is down then I would guess there is a problem with the seals around the piston and possibly elsewhere. Here is a link to a goos site that looks at repairing La Pavoni lever machines. Good luck.

Could be casued by one of the following.

Bad spring in pressure chamber.

Lime scale build up in check valves or other water passages.

check pipe for pressurestat and pressurestat,maybe just gauge is not corect

It seems to me that your pressure stat which is inside the base of your machine needs replacing. I would try to give it a good descale and if this doesn't do the trick then a new pressure stat is what you need. Try to take of the top and see if you can see any thermostat fuse, on some machines this are on the boiler.

i havent heard of this issue , it could posibly be the bent steam wand , but the nozle is made to be that way, because the pavoni eurpicola doesnt produce enough steam pressure , it enables you to create better froth
