SOURCE: Dryer runs ,heats up flame goes off after 30 secs won't relight

Seems to be a problem with the bas valves....you shouldve seen them in front of ignitor...will show similar signs of ignitor. part#306106 AND 306105. come off easily with a few screws and just slide over valve assembly.

SOURCE: gas neptune dryer fires up for 45 sec. to 1 min, then goes out

Could be a couple different things,Possibly a thermostat or high limit that is kicking out too soon, also has a flame sensor next to the burner that can come and go.if you have a toggle switch or pushbutton switch you can unplug the unit take the two wires off the flame sensor (black box about the size of a cigarette pack on the left of the burner)plug them into the switch start the dryer Turn the switch on till the igniter glows bright, turn the switch off and the burner will light if it stays lit at least till it gets to temp replace the flame sensor.(It won't cycle with out flipping the switch each time)

SOURCE: got a LGS34AW very little heat can watch inside

More likely faulty gas valve coils. These electrical coils are right above the gas valves and when energized, these solenoids open the gas valves and permit gas flow to the burner. It is recommended that if any gas valve coils are suspected of being faulty that they all be replaced at the same time when replacement is necessary. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

The gas dryer heats then does not heat. The sensor says 99 minutes to dry close. Tried it on timed heat and it dries then stops drying. Sometimes shutting off completely!

Hello,Cheack to make sure your venting is clean and clear..If its blocked the safty thermostat will shut the heat down to prevent overheating.. If the vent is clean i would check the coils. When they start to fail it will heat then not cycle back on..

John Deere GT263 wont start. Wont even fire, turns over OK

DO you have spark?? To check for spark pull spark plug out. With the spark plug connected lay the spark plug on the block of the engine( something metal) and try to start the engine.waych for aspark as the engie is turning over. Does it spark?? If not check the safty switches - Break petal, seat, blade engagemment switch. Also check the coil/magneto.(without the right tester for goil ) you will have to replace the goil. A little pricey. If you have spsrk, the problem is in the fuel system. Is there gas in the tank? Does the tractor have a fuel shut off in the gass line? Is it open?

Close the fuel shut off valve or crimp the fuel line with vice grips or some type of locking plyers. Remove the carborator bowel. Is there gas in it? Yes, Carborator needs cleaning. No, open the fuel line and see if fuel flows out of line. If not check and see if obstruction on line or tank.

Most importantly is the spark/ ignition system. mainly the safty switches and the coil/magneto. If any ofthe safties are open you will not get ANY spark. If the switches are working correctly I suspect it will be the the coil.

I have a GE gas dryer DBLR333GETNW that gets warm when in use but the clothes take hours to dry.

Hello, this is going to be one of two problems, The first is the obvious one, gas dryers need good airflow to work correctly..you should first check to see if your vent on the outside of the house is pushing air through at enough force to lift the weather flaps also put your hand over the vent..is there a good force of air? if you think its a little weak the vent needs to be cleaned from the dryer to the vent exit..also it would be a good idea to get a shop vac and clean the vent's inside the machine. Second problem this could be is with your valve coils...basically they get old and over time of heating then cooling develop a short when they heat up...It may appear the gas lights to start but then goes out until the safty valve coils cool back down. So I would start by cleaning the vent..if after doing this your still having a problem replace the gas valve coils. This should solve your problem. Hope this helps, Please feel free to comment again if you have any further questions or concerns. Good Luck!

Kenmore Dryer only lights gas sporaticly

replace the igniter. The ignitor is the most comon problem with gas appliances checking continuity does not tell you if it is bad or not it has to draw a certain amount of amps to open the gas safty valve and the is no safe way to check this on most gas dryers

Kenmore 64942300 Electric Dryer runs, no heat

This may seem too simple of an answer based on your extensive troubleshooting thus far, but the most common reason for cold air running of any electric dryer is a broken heater coil. This is simply a coil of wire that is heated to warm the air in the fan duct. These often overheat and break if the vent duct is blocked, too long, or has odd bends that can restrict flow. Recommend replacing heater coil and use smooth wall vent pipe. Avoid coil type flexible duct.

Whirlpool GEW9200LQ0 Gas Dryer

Andeb, 90% of the time long dry times are caused by blocked vents. If you are sure that this is not the case there are a couple of things to check. First check the sensor; press the more time button and less time button 4 times until 88 shows in the display.(more time, less time, more time, less time). Open the door and you will hear a beep and a see a code. On the inside just below the vent screen is the moisture sensor. Moisten your finger and lay it across the sensor strips covering both. If you hear a beep, the sensor is good. Sometimes they build up with fabric softner and need to be sanded lightly. Another issue might be the burner coils. Remove the bottom panel and check to see that the burner is igniting and remaining lit. Sometimes these coils become week and will not sustain the flame. I will attach a diagram, look at number 13 and 14 on the picture. These are the coils. Catriver..post back.
